The CINDE 88 is a versatile audiovisual switcher suitable for any application where up to 8 video and/or audio sources are to be selected for routing to up to 8 outputs. The outputs are fully independent, making the CINDE 88 a true matrix switcher with many added features.Selections are made by holding down an input key while pressing the output key you'd like to route the signal to. Time saving features include an ALL selector, to send the same input to all outputs simultaneously; and an OFF key, to disable all outputs.
Up to 8 configurations can be stored in the internal memory and recalled at will. The memories are backed up for approximately 100 hours with the power disconnected, as well as the current configuration, which is automatically restored when power is again applied.
An RS-232 port on the back panel accepts serial data from a control system such as AMX or Crestron, or directly from a PC, enabling powerful automated control options.
Available as a composite video switcher (Cinde 88) or a Y/C switcher (Cinde 88YC) for S-VHS applications. Video processing is compatible with Y or C signals, so the C88 may also be configured as a 4x4 Y/C (S-VHS) switcher (requires 2 key selections per operation).
Stereo audio follows video for all selections.
